• This wool which comes from Peruvian highland sheep near where the yarn is spun reducing the carbon footprint of the yarn.
• The sheep are a cross between merino and corriedale breed .
• A 2 ply non-superwash fingering weight yarn perfect for sweaters & shawls.
• Can also be used for socks and accessories if you prefer a non-superwash feel which is soft to touch but with a textural feel.
• Peruvian Highland wool wears well, has plenty of bounce and volume and is not prone to fuzzing and pilling. A great all purpose yarn.
• Each skein is hand dyed, they are each unique regardless of being the same colourway and name.
• Colours can vary between batches and we recommend you purchase enough yarn for your project to ensure consistency.
  
• Since these yarns are hand dyed in small batches, we recommend alternating skeins while knitting.
